Sarens is proud to be expanding its growing fleet of cranes with the addition of new LTM 1110-5.1 in the Netherlands and Belgium. These are the first cranes of the type in our fleet. The cranes will be delivered through this year November and early 2021.
LTM 1110-5.1 is a Liebherr 110T 5-axle all-terrain crane. It’s the typical taxi crane capable of taking onboard 13.4T of counterweight. The crane has a 197ft / 60 m long boom making it one of the longest booms in this crane class. Powered by Hillstart-Aid, the crane is capable of travelling on all types of roads and can easily move on hill slopes without rolling backwards.
According to Liebherr, the crane has a gross weight of 48T with axle loads of less than 10T which enables it to be easily driven on roads as compared to other cranes in its class or compared to the cranes that require a time-consuming process to obtain permits.
"The LTM1110-5.1 will further expand Sarens presence in the two countries and can be moved easily to project site. The crane will prove to be even relevant in the ongoing pandemic and after," says Jan L. Sarens, Group Equipment Trade Director.
